Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Architect to join our R&D Aspen Cloud team. As a member of a cross-functional team, you will oversee deployment and operations of the tools supporting our collaboration and productivity.

The role calls for someone with the necessary hard and soft skills required to overcome the traditional barriers between software development, testing, and operations teams. You will join a team of very skilled, talented, and passionate people, always bringing industry best practices to our workflow.

Your Impact

  • Maintain and improve our in-house DevOps code written in different languages (Bash, Python, Go).
  • Implement and maintain CICD pipelines and processes for on-premises and cloud computing infrastructure used day-to-day by the R&D organization for the development, configuration, and delivery of commercial software solutions.
  • Enable a culture of accountability and collaboration with customer support, development, security, and product management teams.
  • Assist with implementation and adherence to security best practices and certification controls.
  • Document operational processes, and critical infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or equivalent, with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Strong cloud architecture, cloud operations, security architecture, security engineering, and DevOps skills.
  • Experience with container engines such as Docker.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CrossPlane, etc.
  • Experience with SCM and CI/CD systems such as Gitlab and GitHub.
  • Experience with artifact repositories and vulnerability scanning.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, and other public cloud providers.
  • Experience with GitOps and promotion models.
  • Experience with monitoring systems and log management.
