About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Services Director to join our Business Tax Services practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and provision work for clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing Canadian corporate tax services, including tax accounting, tax accrual reviews, and corporate income tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate tax compliance and provision work for clients;
  • Lead and collaborate with talented professionals dedicated to exceptional client service;
  • Provide comprehensive Canadian corporate tax services, including tax accounting, tax accrual reviews, and corporate income tax returns;
  • Prepare high-quality tax correspondence and assist clients with their income tax audits;
  • Establish strong relationships with clients and gain a deep understanding of their business operations;
  • Develop technical skills by staying up-to-date on industry trends, new developments, and tax authority decisions, and apply them to complex situations;
  • Identify opportunities for providing tax planning and special services, and plan, organize, and deliver tax planning engagements for Canadian corporations;
  • Support the development and coaching of tax professionals and junior staff members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field;
  • CICA In-depth tax course completed or ongoing, or Master of Tax degree;
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in tax, with relevant experience as a Senior manager;
  • Broad exposure to corporate income taxation;
  • Solid management, organizational, and English/French written and verbal communication skills.
