Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated User Support Technician to join our team at VT Controls Ltd.

Job Summary:

The User Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems. This includes responding to user inquiries, researching and implementing solutions, and providing advice and training to users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person
  • Research and implement solutions to user problems, utilizing technical manuals and other resources
  • Provide advice and training to users on computer-aided design (CAD) software and other technical tools
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software to improve user experience
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in technical support or a related field
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Work Environment:

The User Support Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
