About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at T. HAMILTON & SON ROOFING INC. as a key member of our roofing crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install or replace various types of roofing materials, including asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles, on sloped roofs of buildings.
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level, ensuring a watertight seal.
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools, demonstrating expertise in metal roofing techniques.
  • Install sheet metal flashings, ensuring a secure and watertight seal.
  • Estimate costs and materials for roofing projects, providing accurate and detailed quotes to clients.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
  • Perform physical tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the roofing industry.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Permanent full-time position, working 30 to 44 hours per week.
  • Work language: English.
