About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Leo Transport Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool Management: Safely move and store tools, equipment, and other materials to support our maintenance operations.
  • Site Safety: Clearly communicate safety procedures to colleagues and the public, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Support to Tradespersons: Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, providing a helping hand when needed.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain clean machines and work areas, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Work Environment

As a Mechanic Assistant with Leo Transport Ltd, you can expect a physically demanding role that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling equipment and tools, and collaborating with our maintenance team.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, organization, reliability, and a team player attitude.
