Shift Supervisor

As a Shift Supervisor at CB Canada, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating to meet and facilitate safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards. This includes providing leadership and management to the departments on individual shifts to achieve the company's core strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Management: Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. Report all safety concerns or issues to immediate supervisors. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Department Supervision: Supervise the departments on specified shifts to ensure effective and efficient operation of equipment and availability of necessary resources.
- Training and Development: Oversee and train associates on all departmental procedures, quality procedures, and all related work instructions, safety training, and company policies. Advise managers on personnel issues.
- Time Management: Manage time collection functions. This includes processing and/or submitting all forms on a timely basis.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (e.g., ISO, GMA SAFE, HACCP) as applicable.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in lean manufacturing.
- 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, methods, and practices.
