Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in focusing on the day-to-day activities to meet increased production demands, customer requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage production documents, including preparing detailed production run folders for every product entering the production floor, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify quality, including coordinating the timely submission of microbiological samples to our third-party microbiological lab for clearance, reviewing Critical Control Points (CCPs) to ensure all quality checks are passed before the product is cleared for release, and addressing supplier issues, reporting non-conformance, and moving complaint investigations forward.
  • Complete reporting and participate in auditing, including entering KPI and other data into the system, uploading documentation to SharePoint, maintaining run reports, capturing all customer specifications and run parameters provided by microbiology in the run report database, and participating in audits and traceability exercises to maintain our high quality assurance standards.
Requirements
  • A science education or background and the ability to read and interpret scientific standards, measurements, processes, and results.
  • Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment, such as food, beverage, pharmacy, cosmetics, etc., and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects and meet deliverables and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as professional and flexible verbal and written communication skills, including production schedules and processes and generating reports.
