Casual Educational Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a Casual Educational Assistant to join our team at the Good Spirit School Division. As a Casual Educational Assistant, you will provide support to students with special needs, promoting student independence and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special needs to promote student independence and empowerment.
  • Work closely with students to meet their learning needs and build strong foundations for their future.
  • Perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 40 lbs., bending, and twisting to perform student transfers and personal needs.
  • Work collaboratively as a team member and independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent training/experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience and compassion, with a passion for working with children to create a fun, positive, and safe learning environment.
