Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Riva International Inc. In this role, you will lead the development of high-quality backend solutions, coach and mentor junior developers, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality backend solutions using C#, Microsoft .NET, and PowerShell scripting.
  2. Coach and mentor junior and intermediate developers to improve their skills and advance their career progression.
  3. Contribute to the growth and success of our organization by participating in collaborative product development environments.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in computer science, computer engineering technology, or software engineering.
  • At least six (6) years of backend or full stack experience with architecting and designing complex data-driven backend solutions.
  • Experience with source control, advanced server-side troubleshooting, unit and integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Extensive expertise with programming backend solutions using C#, Microsoft .NET, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Expertise with data sync and transformations, including tracing data flows.
  • Expertise to design and implement performant data sync mechanisms requiring in-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Expertise to design, architect, build, and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Expertise to design, architect, build, test, and maintain microservices and APIs.
