Job Title: Truck Driver - Route Optimization Specialist

Meher Transport Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Route Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for optimizing routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices.
  • Calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
