About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vice President to join our team at the Government of Canada - Western. This is a senior leadership position that requires a strong background in organizational management and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and success
- Lead the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions to achieve organizational objectives
- Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure effective collaboration and communication
- Establish financial and administrative controls to ensure efficient use of resources
- Formulate and approve promotional campaigns to enhance the organization's reputation and brand
- Approve overall human resources planning to ensure the right talent is in place to drive business success
- Select and develop middle managers, directors, or other executive staff to lead teams and drive results
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
