Kitchen Helper Job Description

Manna Fresh Korea Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes and other items by hand, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used, ensuring inventory levels are maintained.
  • Package take-out food and portion ingredients for cooking, adhering to portion control guidelines.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, following established recipes and cooking procedures.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, ensuring adequate supplies are available.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, adhering to food safety guidelines.
