Custodian (2 FT, 2PT)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

• Clean and maintain casino floors, washrooms, offices, windows, and furniture to the highest standards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly inventory of supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available.
• Assist Maintenance Repair Workers with exterior maintenance tasks as required and weather permitting.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist with minor repairs to facilities and equipment, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Successful candidates will be subject to a background check and will be required to obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).

• The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
• As our organization values employee and patron safety, SIGA has instituted a Drug & Alcohol policy for its employees.
• Some SIGA locations operate in a high sensory environment, and you may be required to work in an environment where you will be exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace.
• Compliance with all regulatory requirements as may be applicable to your position, including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.

We are looking for a candidate with a combination of relevant education, training, and/or experience. Previous experience providing customer service and working with diverse situations and personalities is preferred.

• Experience working in a housekeeping or custodial role is an asset.
