About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Designer 2 to join our team at Arc'teryx. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and user-centric product designs that align with our brand's philosophies and exceed our guests' evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute assigned product designs that are future-oriented and user-centric.
  • Contribute to the definition of the current and future global guest, their needs, and expectations through mood boards, visualizing consumer journeys, and market analysis.
  • Work closely with the Product Development team to commercialize innovative technologies, including materials, pattern, and construction techniques for existing and new product categories.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the materials and manufacturing techniques used by Arc'teryx.
  • Collaborate with other Designers to bring new and better toolbox solutions that benefit the brand.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing products, preferably textile-based, with a specific focus on designing women's product.
  • Ability to create tools and construction methods to assist in solving construction issues.
  • Digital/technical expertise, with experience using CLO3D, Adobe Illustrator, and Gerber, or equivalent pattern software.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to take direction and work independently.
  • Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and seeking the best solutions.
