Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, and providing technical guidance to team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transactions: Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their job responsibilities.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular financial reports to management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure smooth operation of accounting equipment, including computers, printers, and software.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
