About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Barn Worker to join our team at Iron Horse Performance. As a key member of our animal care team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our horses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Care: Diagnose and address livestock health issues, monitor animal health, and perform livestock feeding.
  • Equine Grooming: Groom horses in preparation for competitions and shows, ensuring they are clean and well-groomed.
  • Task Organization: Organize tasks to accomplish the work, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Work Environment: Work in a dusty, hot, and noisy environment, with exposure to odours and all weather conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in animal care or a related field.
  • Work Setting: Staff accommodation available, with the opportunity to work in an urban area.
