We are seeking a skilled Barn Worker to join our team at Iron Horse Performance. As a key member of our animal care team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our horses.
Key Responsibilities- Animal Care: Diagnose and address livestock health issues, monitor animal health, and perform livestock feeding.
- Equine Grooming: Groom horses in preparation for competitions and shows, ensuring they are clean and well-groomed.
- Task Organization: Organize tasks to accomplish the work, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Work Environment: Work in a dusty, hot, and noisy environment, with exposure to odours and all weather conditions.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in animal care or a related field.
- Work Setting: Staff accommodation available, with the opportunity to work in an urban area.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Hours: 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
