Sr. Deskside Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Deskside Technical Support Specialist to join our team at S I Systems.

This is an on-site position in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting IT equipment and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop support for end-user computing, ensuring seamless operation of hardware and software.
  • Maintain and support audio-visual equipment in conference rooms, as well as provide additional audio/video requirements for events.
  • Offer printer support and ensure the smooth operation of printing services.
  • Install, test, and deploy Windows images to LM Canada systems, ensuring compliance with LM Security practices.
  • Manage accurate inventory of computer hardware and other IT equipment.
  • Communicate professionally with stakeholders and team members.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting audio/visual equipment/software for use in conference rooms.
  • Eligibility for secret clearance with the Federal Government.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Community college diploma (technician).
  • Experience providing IT support in a production environment.
