Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at IVANA SKRTIC. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals, administering medication, and providing companionship and emotional support.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Administer medication as required.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Assist clients with laundry and other household tasks.
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) is also required.
