About the Job

As an Air Travel Security Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining airport security. Your primary responsibilities include screening passengers and their belongings, preventing unauthorized items from entering secure areas, controlling access to restricted zones, responding to alarms, and participating in emergency operations within the airport.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary of $33.29/hour, comprehensive health benefits, and a Northern allowance of $10.02/hour. You will also have opportunities for career growth and development, as 26% of our frontline employees are promoted to corporate teams.

Requirements

  • You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • You should have a clean criminal record and be eligible for RAIC security clearance.
  • A minimum age of 18 years is necessary.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Preference will be given to candidates located near Iqaluit or willing to relocate before starting work.
