About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. As a Maintenance Millwright, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  2. Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform repairs as needed to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  4. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
  5. Document and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including daily logs, downtime reports, and completed work orders.

Requirements

  • Interprovincial Journeyman License and Power Engineer Certificate are required.
  • 5 years of experience in production/line machine maintenance is essential, with a preference for experience in a food and beverage production environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical theories, principles, and engineering practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
