Job Description

Fabric Inc. is continuing to grow our Engineering team We are looking for a talented and experienced SDE III to help us redefine the e-commerce industry. As part of our Merchant Experience Team, you'll play a pivotal role in building and innovating the tools and features that empower merchants to manage and grow their businesses on the fabric platform.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and architect complex full-stack systems for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  2. Develop and enhance front-end user interfaces and back-end services using modern frameworks, libraries, and tools.
  3. Evaluate and implement advanced testing methodologies for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  4. Promote code quality by writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  5. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
  6. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  7. Implement and optimize deployment pipelines, monitoring, and alerting systems for high availability and reliability.
  8. Provide innovative solutions to challenging problems in distributed systems.
  9. Influence technical direction, contribute to product roadmaps, and make data-driven decisions to guide development efforts.

Your Requirements:

  1. 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
  2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  3. Advanced proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Spring Boot, Django).
  4. Deep understanding of modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  5. Expertise in database design, optimization, and management for both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
  6. Strong command of testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  7. Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  9. Proven ability to lead and influence technical decisions at the team and organizational level.
