Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse - Full Time

Verve Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team in Newmarket, Ontario. As an RPN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the needs of individual residents and develop personalized care plans to promote maximum independence.
  • Participate in the pre-move-in and ongoing assessments of residents' health and wellness needs, making recommendations as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, including medication administration and treatment plans.
  • Supervise and guide general duty attendants in providing resident care, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Wellness Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current RPN licensure in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Minimum of grade 12 education required.
  • Previous experience working as an RPN in a healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on resident-centered care.
