**About the Role**

Toronto Metropolitan University seeks highly qualified individuals to fill the position of Electric Circuit Analysis Assistant. The selected candidates will provide academic support to students in the field of electrical engineering.

**Responsibilities and Expectations**

The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting students with lab and tutorial activities, including preparing materials, grading assessments, and supervising experiments. They will also be required to invigilate exams and quizzes, demonstrate the use of equipment, and assist students with project work.

**Contract Hours and Terms**

The contract hours per section for experienced TAs are up to 7 hours per term for preparation and invigilation, 12 hours per term for bi-weekly training sessions, and 9 hours per term for preparation and other duties. For new TAs, the contract hours include up to 7 hours per term for preparation and invigilation, 12 hours per term for bi-weekly training sessions, and 8 hours per term for completing pre-lab questions.

**Qualifications and Requirements**

We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals with a strong research background and in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles. A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field is required, with preference given to current Toronto Metropolitan University graduate students. Relevant software and hardware experience is also an asset.

**Salary and Compensation**

The salary range for this position is $47.06 per hour for Master's students and $50.82 per hour for PhD students. The estimated total hours of work per term are around 52-60 hours, depending on the number of sections assigned.
