Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Community Therapists. As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will work with a diverse group of clients to assist them in achieving their goals and improving their functional abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Perform job site visits to assess client work environments and provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications
  • Develop and implement graduated activity and return-to-work plans to help clients achieve their goals
  • Liaise with clients' healthcare teams and payer representatives to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Use exceptional communication and clinical skills to deliver outcomes that change people's lives
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Reliable vehicle for clinical appointments
  • Experience working with agency payers is an asset
  • Commitment to continuous learning through professional development courses
  • Current membership with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC) or eligibility for registration
