Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as requisitioning food and kitchen supplies. Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring timely restocking.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
