Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Vice President, Agriculture to lead our team in the Pacific region. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing high-performing teams, developing and executing strategies, and delivering exceptional results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of sales and support staff dedicated to servicing and growing mid-market relationships in the Pacific region.
  • Work closely with the AVP Agriculture Credit to ensure the existing portfolio and new opportunities align with our Agriculture strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners and external partners to grow and strengthen TD's brand presence while providing value-added solutions and competitive credit structures.
  • Stay up-to-date on market and economic conditions that may impact the agriculture industry and organization.
  • Develop strategies to improve geographic coverage, underrepresented segments, and product offerings.
  • Maintain current industry knowledge of regulatory and industry-specific issues across provinces.
  • Proactively address accounts where risk to the Bank is deteriorating.
  • Oversee strategies to attract, motivate, and retain a highly qualified and diverse team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Strong people management skills with a history of leading high-performing teams.
  • History of making an impact, developing and executing strategies, and delivering superior results.
  • Demonstrated relationship-building skills with a superior ability to make things happen through positive influence.
  • Strong financial management skills and fluency with all financial aspects of managing a large book of business.
  • Expertise in Commercial Credit, Risk Management, and developing relationships in a market.
  • Powerful communication skills engaging colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and employees.
  • Robust organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Agriculture background/knowledge preferred but not required.
