About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 2869069 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out the trash.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with cash registers, price scanners, and computerized inventory record keeping systems.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, and a team player.
