We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to join our team at Regent Christian Online Academy in Victoria. As an EA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs in our inclusive classrooms.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist the classroom teacher with various tasks, including taking attendance, preparing learning materials, and directing small groups. In addition, you will help carry out pre-planned lessons and life skills activities for students in their homes or community settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities and support students with diverse learning needs
  • Help prepare learning materials and direct small groups
  • Carry out pre-planned lessons and life skills activities in students' homes or community settings
  • Collaborate with therapists, home learning support teachers, parents, and Special Education Coordinator to ensure student success
Requirements:
  • Experience and/or EA certification is highly valued, but not required
  • Strong interest, related experience, or relevant training in supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Christian values and an empathetic nature
  • Flexibility, creativity, patience, and enthusiasm
  • First Aid with CPR Level C certification
Remuneration:

Hourly rate: $28.90
