Dedicated Emergency Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at the Interior Health Authority. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the overall patient experience.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to emergency patients, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. This will include enhancing the quality of life for patients and their families, consulting and collaborating with other healthcare providers, and participating in continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care to emergency patients
• Enhance quality of life for patients and families
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare providers
• Participate in continuous improvement and evidence-based practice
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Advanced preparation in an ED clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications
