Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort guests to their rooms, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property, providing clear directions and information about our amenities and services.
  • Inform guests of local areas of interest and activities, helping them to make the most of their stay.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests, including the use of room keys, mini-bars, and in-room safes.
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell areas, ensuring it is safely and efficiently handled.
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval, providing a convenient and hassle-free experience for our guests.
  • Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading luggage, and providing directions to local attractions.
  • Supply guests with directions and information about our services, including transportation options and parking procedures.
  • Arrange transportation for guests/visitors, including taxi cabs, shuttle buses, and limousine/sedan services, and record advance transportation requests as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to move, lift, and carry objects in a safe and efficient manner, including up and down stairs and/or service ramps.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, such as hospitality or retail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of local area attractions and services, with the ability to provide recommendations to guests.
