About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team at Days Inn. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance and repair functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Safety and Security: Conduct regular safety and security checks, and ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and secure.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests and colleagues, and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role.
  • Skills: Dependability, ability to work with minimal supervision, and strong communication skills.
