Vertex Resource Group is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on heavy truck and trailer equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy truck and trailer equipment, including engines, drive trains, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair complex problems with heavy truck and trailer equipment.
  • Complete required documentation and reporting for inspections and repairs.
  • Prepare work orders and cost estimates for service approval.
Requirements:
  • Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeymen certificate.
  • Red Seal certification is considered an asset.
  • Ability to complete a CVIP inspection.
  • 4-6 years' experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic, preferably with semi-truck and trailer experience.
  • Class 5 License with a clean drivers' abstract.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time and productivity.
  • Current and up-to-date first-aid and H2S alive safety certificates are an asset.
