We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at Mircom Group of Companies. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for verifying and testing our fire, communication, automation, and related smart building products to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement test strategies and procedures for design verification of networked fire alarm control panels and system configuration tools.
- Design, implement, and manage lab test networks to ensure efficient and effective testing.
- Perform features, functions, stability, and regression testing of products to identify and report defects.
- Collaborate with the QA test group and product developers to ensure seamless testing and development processes.
- Assist in reproducing customer issues in the QA lab and provide feedback to developers to improve product usability.
- Minimum 2+ years of QA test experience with a strong working knowledge of wired and wireless networking protocols.
- Experience with IT infrastructure and networking equipment setup and operation, as well as cloud-based software.
- Ability to use network protocol analyzers for troubleshooting and analysis of networking and communications issues.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience with JTAG, BDM, FPGA programming, and other debugging tools is an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Real-Time Operating Systems.
- Hands-on experience with product installation and configuration, including hand tools.
