About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our team at Axelon Services Corporation. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for driving Solution Architecture best practices across our teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide team management, strategic direction, and thought mentorship to our team of global Solution Architects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across our organization to contribute towards the successful delivery of business goals while adhering to technical strategy.
  • Manage the resource allocation and technical development for our team of global Solution Architects.
  • Work with other members of the Product Development and Engineering Leadership Team.
  • Lead the Solution Architecture practice, ensuring standards, frameworks, and policies are in place and aligned with our technical strategy.
  • Manage a high-performing team of Solution Architects while driving a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to drive the evolution of the technology portfolio in support of the business strategy.
  • Ensure that project Architecture resourcing needs are met, and that architecture processes and policies are adhered to during delivery.
  • Represent the Solution Architecture practice in discussions with central functions and partners across the organization.
  • Provide technical expertise on key initiatives that have a departmental impact.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in solution architecture.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior solution architect with hands-on experience in solution design.
  • An expert understanding of solution architecture standards and best practices.
  • Extensive experience designing solutions that can be rapidly built, tested, and deployed using Agile best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in guiding and developing a team of Solution Architects.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate with senior business and technology partners.
  • Advanced communication skills at all levels, including the ability to convey complex technical strategy and obstacles to senior business and technology partners.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern software architectures, including microservices, APIs, cloud computing, data insights, and modernization patterns.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MEAN stack, Python, or any other middleware technologies.
  • AWS Cloud.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication, Single Sign-On (OAuth, SAML).
  • Containerization/Kubernetes.
  • Microservice-based architecture.
  • Secure By Design concepts, Secure DevOps.
  • Exposure to Big Data/Data Lake/LakeHouse/BI Tools.
  • Application Performance Monitoring (APM) techniques.
  • Large language models.
  • Agile.
  • Recognized document standards (C4, UML, Archimate).
