Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Audiovisual Technician to join our team at MARVEL ENTERTAINMENT INC. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining audiovisual equipment, consoles, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Operate mixing, dubbing, editing machinery and equipment, as well as audio consoles or computers, tape machines, microphones, and sound processing equipment at concerts and live events.
  • Audio-Visual Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain audio-visual or electronic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Video Production: Prepare and operate videotape recording and playback equipment, and edit video tape after production.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Language and Communication: Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and clients.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 30-40 hour workweek, with occasional overtime as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
