About Us

Hosting Blue is a local company that specializes in short-term rental management. We love what we do and where we live, taking joy in bringing owners and guests together through our vacation rentals in the Blue Mountain and Collingwood area.

Reporting to

This role will report to the Cleaning Supervisor, who oversees our team of part-time hourly cleaners responsible for guest turnovers to ensure an exceptional guest stay.

Summary of Role

We are seeking a high-energy individual to join our growing team as a part-time or full-time cleaner. As a member of our cleaning team, you will be passionate about cleaning and organizing, comfortable working both independently and within a team with good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Turnover Cleans: Ensure our vacation rentals are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for new guests.
  • Document Maintenance Issues: Accurately document any maintenance issues found during your cleanings.
  • Restocking Supplies: Restock supplies as needed to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Must have or be willing to obtain necessary security clearance.
  • No Cleaning Experience Needed: While experience is not required, a passion for cleaning and organizing is essential.
  • Smart Phone with WIFI: A smartphone with internet access is necessary for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Driver's Licence and Car: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for this role.

  • Part Time or Full Time Work: 20-40 hours per week available, including seasonal employment opportunities.
  • Cleans take place anytime between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
  • $18-$21 per hour based on experience.
  • Health Benefits: After 3 months of probationary service with a minimum of 25 hours per week, you'll be eligible for health benefits.
