Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Wealth Management Technology Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the initiation, planning, and execution of waterfall/agile projects. Your expertise in managing vendor deliverables, integration, data, and reporting will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply your experience and knowledge to perform a variety of assignments, including planning and monitoring project development to ensure quality standards and goals are achieved.
  • Serve as a liaison and build bridges among team members within the project, including vendors, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and manage the detailed schedule, identify early warning indicators, provide direction for early resolution of risks, issues, and clear escalation path for project committees.
  • Oversee financials and staffing levels to efficiently meet project delivery requirements, complete risk assessments, and tracks value for effective decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including vendors, RBC IT teams, and Product, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Build and present for Senior Director & VP level presentations and project communications.
  • Initiate process improvements and promote agile enablement within the team.
  • Complete post-project reviews/retrospectives and closure.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of end-to-end Agile Project Management experience, spanning small projects and large projects with high levels of value (benefit/cost), and ability to influence decisions.
  • Ability to manage highly visible projects with third-party vendors and significant technology components.
  • Previous experience representing the business and technology on projects with a proven ability to build relationships and trust with business partners.
  • Ability to be a driver on issues and challenges and follow up on assigned action items.
  • Advanced communication, presentation, and facilitation skills to drive success.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, change, issue, and risk management, and working knowledge of Software development lifecycle (SDLC).
