About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant to join our Rail Certification and Consulting business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis, assessments, reports, and designs to support client projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to meet client needs, drawing from global best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior colleagues, ensuring project activities align with company procedures and standards.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, ensuring client safety and satisfaction.
  • Represent our company in client meetings, workshops, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive project success.
  • Assume leadership roles as needed to support business objectives.

Key Competencies and Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in the rail industry, with a proven track record in safety assurance and/or assessment.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities, flexible and adept at meeting deadlines.

Desirable Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of CMREA/CENELEC standards.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian Railway System, including CMREA, is advantageous.
