Forest View Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Plant Operations to lead our facilities management team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our 108-bed psychiatric facility.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective maintenance and facilities management strategies to ensure a safe and attractive environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance and facilities staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of hospital equipment, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and facilities-related expenses.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory codes and standards.
