Are you a motivated individual with a passion for property management and customer service? We are seeking a Resident Manager/Cleaner to join our team at Mainstreet Equity Corp.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Resident Manager/Cleaner to oversee the daily operations and administration of our residential properties. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development and Marketing:
    • Generate new business leads and conduct unit showings with prospective tenants
    • Negotiate or approve rental or lease agreements on behalf of the company
    • Post rental ads to attract new tenants
    • Answer current and/or prospective tenant inquiries
  • Property Repair and Maintenance:
    • Coordinate with regional manager and maintenance staff to implement effective capital improvement plans
    • Coordinate and monitor progress of repairs, maintenance, and renovations
    • Manage tenant maintenance requests and ensure timely completion
  • Upkeep and Area Maintenance:
    • Manage and schedule staff required for area maintenance, cleaning, garbage removal, and landscaping
    • Ensure snow and ice removal, salting of entrances, walkways, rooftop accesses, and other related tasks
    • Schedule all cleaning and repair of turnover suites
    • Ensure handling and disposal of garbage and recycling bins
    • Ensure general maintenance of underground garage and parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios, and rooftops
    • Ensure watering of gardens and lawns
    • Ensure vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of carpeted or tiled common areas
    • Ensure general maintenance of common areas (lobbies, elevators, hallways, stairwells, windows, etc.) and amenity areas (laundry rooms, recreation rooms, etc.)
    • Ensure dusting and cleaning of garbage chutes, garbage rooms, walls, floors, and recycling rooms
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Ensure timely collection and deposits of rental payments and administer damage deposits
    • Utilize Yardi system to record transactions and run various operational reports
    • Receive supplies and send paperwork to the head office
  • Other Duties:
    • Attend training and meeting with head office and work with utility companies, phone companies, and contractors
    • Supervise staff, service providers, and contractors to oversee the quality of work performed
