About the Role

Tidal Commerce Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our e-commerce consulting and engineering boutique, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering comprehensive e-commerce solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing e-commerce architectures using platforms like Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, VTEX, or similar.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including developers and engineers, through the complete project lifecycle, focusing on e-commerce challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide technical direction, ensuring e-commerce solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients to understand business goals in the e-commerce landscape and translate these into scalable technical solutions.
  • Stay informed of emerging e-commerce technologies, trends, and best practices, leveraging tools such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, and VTEX.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in solution architecture, with a proven focus on e-commerce solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, VTEX, or similar engines.
  • Successfully led the implementation of at least three B2B or B2C e-commerce solutions.
  • Strong front-end experience with frameworks like React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, etc.
  • Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with integrating e-commerce platforms with ERP, PIM, and payment gateways.
