Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at 3A Renos Inc. as a permanent employee.

Job Summary:

The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces, from freshly poured cement to final product. This includes operating power vibrators, compacting concrete, and imparting the desired finish using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Instructing apprentices
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Estimating costs and materials
  • Operating CADD and other computer software systems
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
