Data Analyst Role

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join its CRM Data Enablement & Reporting team. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in driving business decisions by assisting in the development of self-serve reporting solutions.

About the Opportunity
This exciting 8-month fixed-term position offers a unique chance to work with a dynamic and collaborative team. You will report directly to the Senior Manager, CRM Data Enablement & Reporting, and collaborate with Channel partners and Marketing leads across Personal Banking and Commercial Banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop CRM and campaign reports using Tableau and programming languages such as SQL, SAS, and Python required for Canadian Banking and Insurance to meet business and financial imperatives
• Participate in requirement and campaign design meetings to identify success criteria and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for measurement
• Work with CRM Data Enablement & Reporting team members on report automation and streamline existing reporting processes
• Explore and integrate Google Analytics data via tools such as Starburst Trino to new and existing campaign dashboards to measure effectiveness of RBC's online and mobile channels.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure reporting is developed accurately and on time
• Regular maintenance of web-based report repository to ensure report and dashboard links are updated and new contents are uploaded

Requirements
• Working towards a degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science/Math/Statistics)
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Google Data Studio
• Technical knowledge on SQL or SAS or Python (Enterprise Guide/SAS Studio/Jupyter Notebook)
• Strong business acumen and analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to conceptualize strategy
• Attention to detail, organization, ability to multi-task, and time management is critical

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications
