We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team at Overseas Fashion & Fabric. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Make made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications
- Fit, alter and repair garments as required
- Lay out, cut, sew and press materials to make hats
- Make, alter or re-style fur garments and accessories
- Operate sewing machines or sew by hand
- Select and modify commercial patterns to customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit
- Design patterns to fit measurements
- Mark, cut and sew fabric
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
- Excellent client focus, flexibility, initiative, and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- English language proficiency
- 40 hours per week, permanent position
