Job Description

This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to join LVY TRANSPORT as a truck driver. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in transporting goods across various locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations.
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, utilizing computer equipment and navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain the condition of vehicles, performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as overseeing all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Loading and unloading goods while adhering to safety procedures.
  • Performing brake adjustments and other routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working in dusty environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including cross-border trips and overnight stays.
  • Certifications and endorsements in specialized areas such as environmental awareness and transportation regulations.
