Senior Solutions Architect Job Description

As a Senior Solutions Architect at Amazon, you will play a key role in helping our customers achieve their business goals by designing and implementing innovative cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with our sales team to craft highly flexible and resilient architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and design solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads.
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Work closely with our engineering teams to ensure that our solutions are scalable, secure, and reliable.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in a specific technology domain area, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems, such as SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, and SAP Business Objects.
