About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rare Disease Reimbursement Specialist to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients have access to the medications they need to manage their rare diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of rare disease programs, including pathophysiology, therapeutic areas, and mechanisms of action.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to prepare submissions that meet specific criteria set by public and private payers.
  • Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions.
  • Navigate complex reimbursement processes to obtain coverage for prescription medications.
  • Implement financial means tests to maximize patient coverage.
  • Coordinate pharmacy processes required once funding has been obtained.
Requirements
  • University degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the pharmaceutical, insurance, or healthcare-related industries.
  • Previous experience in reimbursement and knowledge of public, private, and federal reimbursement.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Bilingualism, French/English.
