Financial Planner Job Description

This is a remote position with Canadian House Partners.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Planner to join our company. As a Financial Planner, you will work directly with clients to help them understand their financial circumstances and achieve their short-term and long-term financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze clients' financial status, including income, expenses, and liabilities.
  • Develop and execute sound financial plans and strategies to help clients meet their goals.
  • Provide advice on investments, retirement planning, risk management, and tax planning.
  • Coordinate estate planning and implement protection planning through insurance.
  • Manage client relationships and cultivate new clients.
  • Prepare financial policy and procedure documentation.
  • Research and present investment strategies.
  • Open, transfer, and manage client accounts.
  • Generate and process paper and electronic documents.
  • Identify financial process improvements.
  • Stay updated on regulations, practices, and financial products.
Requirements:
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Able to make 200 calls per day.
  • Closing sales while simultaneously managing team members.
  • Strong prospecting skills to continuously grow the client base.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple clients and tasks.
  • Skilled in conducting thorough financial needs analyses for diverse client situations.
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering compelling presentations to clients and prospects.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation skills to handle client objections and close deals.
