Lactation Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team as a Lactation Consultant.
About the Role:This exciting opportunity is part of our Maternal and Child Program, where you will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide expert lactation consulting services to new mothers and their families.
You will be responsible for assessing breastfeeding challenges, providing personalized guidance and support, and promoting optimal breastfeeding outcomes.
Requirements:- Certificate of Competence in the Province of Ontario from College of Nurses
- Certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant required
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation is required
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience with the Maternal Newborn population
- Minimum 2 years experience working as a lactation consultant
Prior experience working in outpatient and clinic settings is preferred, but not mandatory. We value excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
