Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at ReliableVA Solutions LLC. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading tax planning, preparation, review, compliance, and research efforts for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients, utilizing tax software and industry knowledge to ensure compliance with prevailing tax laws and regulations.
2. Apply knowledge of current tax issues and regulatory requirements to provide expert advice to clients, identifying areas of impact and recommending strategies to mitigate risks.
3. Prepare and review various tax returns, including Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, and Multistate returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
4. Manage and supervise staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality work and efficient engagement completion.
5. Maintain superior attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tax-related work.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation (preferred)
* 5 years of experience in a Canadian public accounting firm, with 2 years of supervisory experience
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to plan and assign tasks effectively
* Expertise in tax software, including ProSystem, Microsoft Office, and Intuit QuickBooks
* Ability to become an expert in assigned areas and recognize opportunities for additional services and efficiencies
